Asko is one of the leading and well-known furniture retail chains in Finland. The company has a long background in furniture business since 1918.

In 2011 Asko made strategic decision to activate full VividPlatform sales tool with over 50 products, including several modular sofas and other soft products. The strong focus was to bring solution for Sales personnel on shop floor level to enhance and help their sales process. Furthermore focus was to bring products available through Asko’s webpage and this way open up a new way to present products to wide audience.

Touchscreen stands for 33 shops

VividPlatform’s ProductComposer option brought visual approach and enabled the end users to easily compose desired setup of the product with controlled option of all product specific features visible. In addition VividWorks delivered 3D sales tool Touchscreen Stands for 33 Asko’s shops to support Asko’s sales personnel and help customers make buying decision in the shops.

Thanks to VividPlatform’s SalesConnection option, sales tool is now integrated Asko’s ERP system and Facebook. Now all prices are always up to date including regular customer and discount prices. Customers can log in to sales tool with their Facebook account, share designs on social media and get feedback from friends.

Besides ProductComposer and SalesConnection Asko’s sales tool has been activated with Interior Planner and AR options. Now Asko customers have an opportunity to plan and visualize how the furniture is going to look like in the planned space. These new features also allow Asko customers to combine the products of different manufacturers in the same space. In future Asko will extend their VividPlatform based sales tool with multiple product lines.
