A listed family company, Tulikivi Corporation and its subsidiaries form the Tulikivi Group, the world’s largest manufacturer of heat-retaining fireplaces. The Group is known for its Tulikivi soapstone fireplaces and natural stone products as well as its Kermansavi ceramic fireplaces and utility ceramics.
The Group’s revenue amounts to about EUR 53 million, about half of which is accounted for by exports. The Group owns six production plants and employs about 500 people.
Fireplaces are a big investment for the customers and there are hundreds of different variations available so it goes without saying that the sales process is a challenging and time consuming for both the customer and the sales personnel. To make this process easier for the participants Tulikivi began to look some useful solutions to improve the buying situation to get shorter order-to-delivery process and an even more appealing experience.
Tulikivi decided to go with VividPlatform, which had the potential to be customized in a way that supports Tulikivi’s objectives. By VividPlatform it was possible to bring all the fireplace elements to the system and build your own fireplace so that the application finished all the details.
For example all the tile seams were measures to match exactly and the flue parts were calculated so hat the combination actually works like a fireplace should do. The graphical layout was also customizable to fit in Tulikivi’s brand. In addition of these features the crucial strategic aspect for Tulikivi was the fact that VividPlatform could be connected to Sales System and Production System to ensure support to the whole sales process.
Daily operations with this new sales tool by VividPlatform have been very useful in practice. Sales personnel have really felt their tasks have become more interesting because now they have an illustrative tool that creates interaction with the customer and helps to understand each other leading to quicker sales process. Also the management is pleased:” We are able to sell more products with our current staff”. Thanks to the VividPlatform’s integration to Sales and Production the whole delivery process is much smoother nowadays and after all it will reflect back as satisfied customers.
