Last week, we spent two amazing days at 3daysofdesign (3DD) in Copenhagen - one of Europe’s coolest design festivals that brought together over 500 international brands and designers across eight districts of the city!

It’s a place where creativity, craftsmanship, and innovation come together, and honestly, it was inspiring to see so many ideas come to life.
The theme this year was “KEEP IT REAL,” which really felt like a call to focus on authenticity, sustainability, and inclusivity values we care about deeply in our work as well.
A festival of inspiration
The event was full of energy from all kinds of creative people - designers, brands, makers, and design lovers from all over the world.

There were exhibitions, talks, workshops, and live demonstrations happening across the city, each showing new ideas and fresh approaches to design.

It was a real celebration of both tradition and innovation, with plenty of exciting ways to explore how design is evolving today.
Big news: Two configurator launches
What made this year extra exciting for us? Two brand new 3D configurators were officially launched right before the event - a big milestone for us and our new customers!
- For SACKit, the configurator brings their modular outdoor sofa system to life. Users can mix and match modules, fabrics, and layouts to create their ideal setup - all in real time!
- And for New Works, the configurator transforms their shelving system into a highly customizable experience. From height and color to layout and more, users can easily turn a minimalist piece into something uniquely personal.
We were so proud to see these powerful tools go live and can’t wait to see how they’ll support our new customers going forward!

We also loved catching up with some of our fantastic customers like Blå Station, HAY, Fredericia, and Montana. Seeing their beautiful work in person and how they’re blending physical products with digital tools was super inspiring!
Big takeaway? Personalization is here to stay
One thing was crystal clear: personalization is no longer a “nice to have” - it’s what people expect. More and more brands are embracing customization and interactive design experiences, and 3D configurators are playing a big part in that shift.

3DD reminded us that design isn’t just about beautiful objects anymore. It’s about storytelling, sustainability, and giving people a way to make things their own. The line between digital and physical is getting blurrier and that’s opening up all kinds of exciting new possibilities.

We came back from Copenhagen full of ideas and inspired to keep helping our customers create meaningful, memorable experiences. If you’re curious about how 3D technology can bring your products to life - let’s chat!
